JAIPUR. In a significant crackdown on the financial networks supporting illegal narcotics trade, the Araing police in Ajmer have successfully frozen assets valued at approximately 15 lakh rupees. The action was taken against Dinesh Rebari, a suspected supplier currently wanted by law enforcement, under the provisions of Section 68(F)(2) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. This operation aligns with a broader state-wide initiative directed by the Police Headquarters to dismantle the economic foundations of habitual drug offenders.

The investigation into the suspect's financial activities revealed that the assets were acquired through proceeds generated from illicit drug trafficking. Following a meticulous collection of evidence and documentation from various departments, the police submitted a formal request for the attachment of these properties. The legal process culminated on October 23, when the competent authority in Delhi issued the final order to freeze the identified assets, effectively preventing their transfer or sale.

The seized properties include a Hyundai Venue vehicle, valued at approximately 8.70 lakh rupees, and a residential plot located in Chotalamba village, estimated to be worth 5.73 lakh rupees. Despite attempts by the accused to contest the seizure through legal submissions, the police maintained a strong case, ensuring that the evidence of the illicit origin of these assets was presented effectively to the authorities.

Dinesh Rebari, a 28-year-old resident of Rebariyon ki Dhani, currently faces multiple legal challenges. He is named in several NDPS cases, with two matters already pending trial in court. The suspect remains at large, and local police have intensified their efforts to locate and apprehend him. Officials stated that this action serves as a stern warning to those involved in the narcotics trade that the state will continue to target the wealth accumulated through criminal activities to curb the drug menace in the region.
