BJP Sets Aggressive Timeline for Jaipur Civic Poll Candidate Selection

Jaipur. The Bharatiya Janata Party's Jaipur city unit has initiated a comprehensive planning phase for the upcoming municipal elections, focusing on candidate selection and organizational readiness. During a marathon core committee meeting presided over by city president Amit Goyal, senior party leaders emphasized the need for a disciplined and time-bound approach to secure victory across all wards.

National General Secretary and Rajasthan election in-charge Harish Dwivedi underscored the urgency of the situation, noting that the window for preparation is narrow. He directed party officials to expedite the candidate selection process, setting a firm deadline of August 26 for its completion. Dwivedi stressed that while every aspiring worker should be given an opportunity to apply, the final selection must prioritize dedication to the organization, public outreach, social acceptance, and the candidate's potential to win.

Addressing the gathering, National Secretary Rohan Gupta highlighted the importance of effective communication. He urged party workers to bridge the gap between the government and the public by disseminating information about welfare schemes and development projects directly to households. Gupta advocated for a multi-pronged approach that combines traditional grassroots campaigning with a strong presence on digital and social media platforms to ensure the party's message reaches every family.

City President Amit Goyal reaffirmed the party's dominance in the region, describing Jaipur as a traditional stronghold for the BJP. He expressed confidence that the organization would enter the electoral fray with a firm resolve to win every seat. Goyal outlined that the party would focus on strengthening its presence from the ward and booth levels up to the power centers, ensuring that every stage of the election, from campaigning to vote management, is executed with precision.

The meeting saw the presence of several prominent leaders, including MP Manju Sharma, various MLAs, and former state president Ashok Parnami. The collective leadership emphasized that the combination of senior guidance, meticulous management, and the tireless efforts of the party cadre would be the cornerstone of their campaign strategy. The party aims to leverage its existing infrastructure to maintain its political influence in the city's municipal governance.
