Didwana. The Swarnkar community in Didwana observed the birth anniversary of their revered deity, Ajmidh Ji Maharaj, with immense devotion and enthusiasm on the auspicious occasion of Sharad Purnima. The day was marked by a series of religious rituals and cultural events that brought the local community together in celebration.
The festivities commenced with a grand Mangal Kalash Yatra, which began at the Sheetal Kund Temple. Hundreds of women from Didwana, Maulasar, Chhoti Khatu, and surrounding areas participated in the procession, carrying sacred pots on their heads. The atmosphere throughout the route was filled with religious fervor as participants chanted hymns and celebrated the occasion with great zeal.
A major highlight of the procession was the live tableau of Ajmidh Ji Maharaj, which drew significant attention from the gathered devotees. The event was graced by the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Sadhvi Ishwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj of the Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara, who traveled from Udaipur to provide her spiritual guidance and blessings to the community.
Under the guidance of the Mahamandaleshwar, a special Mangal Path was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary. During this session, Ravish Kumar and his wife Sonam, representing the family of Kotri Sati Mata, delivered a moving narration of the life and legacy of Sati Mata. The presentation included vivid depictions of her birth and marriage, leaving the audience deeply touched and emotionally moved.
The celebration also served as an opportunity to honor distinguished guests and community members. Chandmal Narnoli, son of Kotri Sati Mata, along with other visiting dignitaries, were welcomed with traditional honors, including the presentation of shawls and mementos. The event saw active participation from district and tehsil-level officials, youth wings, and women's groups, reflecting the strong unity and cultural heritage of the Swarnkar community in the region.
