Jaipur. The Baran district police have successfully apprehended two hardcore criminals, each carrying a reward of 10,000 rupees, in connection with a daring theft involving a four-quintal safe. The suspects, identified as Girraj Pardi and Ramdas Pardi, both hailing from the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, were brought to Rajasthan on production warrants from the Guna district jail to face charges related to the incident in the Anta police station area.

The investigation began following a complaint filed on July 7, 2026, by a local resident. The victim reported that on the night of July 6, unidentified individuals broke into their home by forcing open the main gate and gallery locks. The intruders managed to remove a massive safe weighing approximately 400 kilograms from the prayer room. The stolen safe contained 5.50 lakh rupees in cash, two gold chains, three gold rings, and critical property registration documents. Additionally, 7,000 rupees were reported missing from a separate wardrobe.

Following the report, a specialized team was formed under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Saurabh Tiwari and led by Station House Officer Bhupesh Sharma. Through technical analysis and interrogation of four previously arrested suspects, investigators traced the involvement of the two men currently held in Guna. With these latest arrests, the total number of individuals taken into custody regarding this case has reached six.

Authorities have revealed that both suspects have extensive criminal histories spanning multiple states. Girraj Pardi is linked to seven cases across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, involving charges ranging from theft and robbery to attempted murder. His accomplice, Ramdas Pardi, faces 16 criminal cases across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat, with a criminal record dating back to 2004.

Police are currently conducting a rigorous interrogation of the suspects to identify any remaining accomplices and to recover the stolen valuables. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities coordinate with law enforcement agencies from other states where the suspects are wanted for various offenses.
