Sawai Madhopur. The Sawai Madhopur District Congress Committee has officially launched its preparations for the upcoming national demonstration scheduled to take place in the capital. Under the banner of the All India Congress Committee's Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao campaign, party members are gearing up to participate in a major rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on November 1, 2026. The initiative aims to highlight concerns regarding the preservation of democratic values and the sanctity of voting rights across the nation.
District Congress President Indira Meena presided over a press conference to outline the strategic roadmap for the event. During the briefing, she emphasized that the rally serves as a platform to challenge current central government policies that the party believes threaten the democratic fabric of the country. Meena confirmed that a significant contingent, including party officials, front-line organization members, and local citizens, is expected to travel from Sawai Madhopur to Delhi to demonstrate their collective resolve.
AICC observer Lakhan Singla, who attended the briefing to review the local preparations, noted the palpable enthusiasm among party workers throughout Rajasthan. He urged the local leadership to intensify their outreach efforts to ensure maximum participation. The strategy involves a coordinated approach to mobilize supporters from every block and village within the district, ensuring that the message of the campaign reaches the grassroots level effectively.
Rajasthan Congress co-in-charge Poonam Paswan highlighted that a comprehensive route map has been developed to facilitate the travel of workers to the capital. The organization is currently focusing on logistics and coordination to ensure that the district's contribution to the rally is substantial. Senior party officials, block presidents, and heads of various frontal organizations participated in the discussions, reaffirming their commitment to the success of the movement.
The meeting concluded with a collective pledge from the local leadership to maintain organizational unity as they work toward the November deadline. By fostering strong participation from the district, the Sawai Madhopur Congress aims to contribute significantly to the broader national protest, underscoring the importance of civic engagement in protecting the democratic rights of the Indian electorate.
