Shekhawati University Opens Offline Admission Window for Select Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs

Sikar. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar, has officially commenced its offline admission process for the 2026-2027 academic session. This decision comes after the university administration observed that the number of online applications received for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs fell short of the designated seat capacity. The move aims to ensure that all academic departments can meet the minimum enrollment requirements necessary to conduct their respective courses effectively.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Rai confirmed that students who missed the initial online application window are now eligible to apply directly through the offline mode. This opportunity is available for a wide range of specialized courses, including BBA, BA-JMC, MSc Forensic Science, MSc Botany, MCA, MA Hindi, MA History, MA-JMC, and various M.Com streams. Additionally, the university is accepting applications for its specialized PG Diploma programs in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, as well as Cyber Security and Cyber Law.

Prospective students interested in these programs are invited to visit the university campus between August 1 and August 7, 2026. The admission desk will be operational from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Candidates are required to report to rooms 101 and 102 of the Academic Building to undergo the mandatory document verification process. Those who have not previously applied online can obtain physical application forms directly from room 112 in the Administrative Building.

According to Dr. R.C. Meena, the study in-charge, applicants must present their original documents along with self-attested photocopies to the admission committee. Fees can be settled through demand drafts or online payment methods. The university has clarified that students have the flexibility to pursue a PG degree and a PG diploma concurrently. However, admission remains subject to availability, as the university will cease enrollment for any specific course once the predetermined seat limit is reached.
