Jaipur. The Tonk district police have intensified their efforts against criminal activities by executing two high-profile operations targeting narcotics trafficking and organized cyber fraud. In a coordinated effort involving the District Special Team and local law enforcement, authorities successfully dismantled a drug supply chain and apprehended an individual involved in sophisticated digital financial crimes.

Under the Operation Sankalp Nasha Mukt Tonk initiative, police intercepted two suspects in the Niwai Sadar area. During the search, officers recovered 92.33 grams of smack, estimated to be worth approximately 20 lakh rupees. The arrested individuals, identified as 28-year-old Jayraj and 22-year-old Vikas, both residents of Alipura, were taken into custody along with two mobile phones used in their illicit operations. This action was carried out under the supervision of senior district police officials to curb the rising drug menace in the region.

Simultaneously, the Datwas police station launched an aggressive campaign under Operation Cyber War to tackle the growing threat of digital fraud. Officers detained an 18-year-old suspect, Sunil, from Beed ki Dhani, who was found to be operating a complex network of financial deceit. Investigations revealed that the suspect utilized 61 different fraudulent SIM cards, along with multiple mule bank accounts and fake social media profiles, to orchestrate scams.

A review of the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal indicated that the suspect was linked to seven active complaints involving fraudulent transactions totaling nearly 2.92 lakh rupees. During preliminary questioning, the accused admitted to facilitating suspicious transactions amounting to approximately 20 lakh rupees through various bank accounts. Authorities have seized his motorcycle and an Android mobile device as part of the ongoing investigation.

The case against the cyber fraud suspect has been registered at the Datwas police station, with further investigation now being handled by the Piplu station house officer. These back-to-back successes highlight the commitment of the Tonk police to maintaining public safety by targeting both physical narcotics distribution and the digital infrastructure that supports modern financial crimes.
