Deeg. In a significant crackdown on the illegal liquor trade, law enforcement authorities in Deeg have successfully apprehended three individuals involved in the unauthorized sale and transportation of alcohol. The operation, conducted under the direct supervision of Superintendent of Police Sharan Gopinath, involved coordinated efforts between local police stations and the district Quick Response Team to curb illicit activities across the region.

The first major breakthrough occurred when Deeg Kotwali police established a blockade near a temple on the route from the old bus stand to Uncha Gate. Acting on intelligence provided by the Quick Response Team, officers intercepted a white WagonR vehicle. Upon searching the car, they discovered ten cartons containing 480 pouches of country-made liquor. The driver, identified as 32-year-old Abhishek Jatav, failed to produce any valid permits or licenses for the transport, leading to his immediate arrest and the seizure of both the vehicle and the contraband.

Simultaneously, the Jaluki police station conducted two separate operations. In one instance, officers patrolling the gravel road between Fahari and Gahankar apprehended 30-year-old Prem Singh, a resident of Alwar district. Police seized a motorcycle and 40 liters of locally brewed illicit liquor from his possession. The suspect is currently facing charges under the Excise Act as investigations into his supply network continue.

In a final joint operation near the Samli bus stand, the Jaluki police and the district Quick Response Team targeted a closed shop where they arrested 30-year-old Vijendra Gurjar. During this search, authorities recovered 15 beer tubes, 20 cans of Kingfisher beer, and 48 pouches of country-made liquor. The suspect was taken into custody, and the seized items were documented as evidence.

Superintendent Sharan Gopinath confirmed that these actions reflect the department's ongoing commitment to maintaining law and order by dismantling illegal distribution networks. All three suspects have been booked under relevant sections of the Excise Act. Local police teams are now working to trace the origins of the seized alcohol to determine the broader scope of these illicit operations.
