BHARATPUR. Authorities in Bharatpur have taken four individuals into custody regarding the tragic death of former legislator Atar Singh Bhadana. The arrests follow a violent incident that occurred at the victim's business premises in Bhonda village, situated within the Weir administrative region. The suspects identified by local law enforcement include Bhagmal Gurjar, Soni Gurjar, and Sher Singh Gurjar, all residents of Bhonda, along with Kumar Singh Gurjar from the nearby village of Navar.
The incident unfolded on Sunday evening when the former politician arrived at his crusher plant to oversee operations. According to preliminary reports, the facility was suddenly swarmed by a large group estimated to be between seventy and eighty people. This mob proceeded to storm the office area where the former MLA was present, leading to a brutal physical confrontation that ultimately resulted in his passing. The scale of the attack caused immediate alarm throughout the surrounding community.
Weir Circle Officer Neeraj Bhardwaj confirmed the successful apprehension of the four suspects and stated that the investigation is currently in an active phase.
