Jaipur District Collector Conducts Surprise Inspection of Election Cells

JAIPUR. District Election Officer and Collector Sandesh Nayak conducted a surprise inspection of the various cells established for the upcoming 2026 municipal general elections. The visit, which took place on Thursday evening at the district collectorate premises, was aimed at ensuring that all preparations are proceeding according to the established protocols.

During the inspection, the District Election Officer visited the Media Monitoring Cell and the Media Cell operating within the Information and Public Relations office. He also reviewed the operations of the identified voter list cell and the statistical data cell. These departments play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the electoral process, and the collector sought to verify that all systems are functioning efficiently.

Addressing the staff present during his rounds, Nayak emphasized the necessity of maintaining high standards of diligence and punctuality. He issued clear instructions to the concerned officers to ensure that all election-related tasks are completed within the designated timelines. The collector made it clear that any form of apathy, laxity, or negligence in the performance of these duties would not be tolerated.
