Free Medical Camp Held in Piplai for Local Residents

PIPLAI. A comprehensive free medical camp was organized on Saturday at the Atal Seva Kendra in Piplai, aimed at providing accessible healthcare to the local community. The initiative was held under the guidance of Sumedha Kailash, co-founder of Bal Ashram, and was conducted in partnership with NIMS Hospital, Jaipur. The event sought to address the rising incidence of seasonal ailments in the region by bringing professional medical expertise directly to the village level.

The medical team from NIMS Hospital was led by camp in-charge Neeraj Jatawat and Nasir Ansari. The team included specialists such as pediatrician Dr. Dheeraj Rajpurohit, general physician Dr. Neelabh Pandey, ophthalmologist Dr. Sanju Yadav, and gynecologist Dr. Nikita Garg, supported by a dedicated nursing staff. Their presence ensured that residents received specialized consultations alongside general health screenings.

During the day-long camp, a total of 168 patients underwent thorough health examinations. The services provided included blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, and personalized medical advice. Furthermore, all necessary medications prescribed by the doctors were distributed to the patients free of charge. The organizers emphasized that the camp was arranged with a sense of compassion to ensure that vulnerable populations could access quality healthcare without the burden of travel or costs.

The local administration extended a warm welcome to the visiting medical professionals. Gram Panchayat Administrator Vishram Meena and Child Sarpanch Priyanka honored the team members with garlands as a gesture of appreciation for their exemplary service. Representatives from the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion were also present to support the proceedings.

Bal Ashram Manager Aadesh Kumar noted that the current weather conditions have contributed to an increase in seasonal health issues within the area. By hosting this camp, the organizers hope to mitigate the impact of these illnesses and provide immediate relief to those in need. The successful turnout highlights the critical importance of such collaborative health initiatives in rural areas, ensuring that essential medical support reaches those who need it most.
