Kahar Community in Tonk Outlines Ambitious Plans for Temple Inauguration and Mass Wedding

TONK. Members of the Shri Radhe Navyuvak Mandal from the Kahar community gathered in Kaithun recently to chart a path forward for their ongoing temple construction project. The meeting, presided over by committee head Jeetmal Maliya, focused on accelerating the remaining structural work to ensure the site is ready for its formal inauguration. To expedite this process, the committee deliberated on awarding the final construction contract to Bharat Kahar, aiming to bring the project to a swift and successful completion.

Beyond the physical infrastructure, the assembly turned its attention to social initiatives, specifically the planning of a first-ever collective marriage ceremony for the community. To generate awareness and participation, the committee decided to initiate a comprehensive publicity campaign involving the distribution of posters, banners, and pamphlets across the region. This event is expected to be a landmark occasion for the local Kahar population, fostering unity and support among families.

The gathering also served as a platform to honor the newly appointed Tonk District President, Sayarlal Keer Sarovarabad. During the ceremony, the district president made a significant announcement regarding the upcoming mass wedding, pledging to provide sugar and silver rings for all the brides participating in the event. This gesture was met with appreciation from the attendees, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the leadership.

The meeting saw a strong turnout from community leaders and local representatives, including Jitendra Dheewar, Naresh Mori, Shyam Badgujar, Mahavir Maliya, Bhanwar Lal Badgujar, Mukesh Sikarwal, Durga Shankar Maliya, Mohan Maliya, Hariom Dheewar, Ramlal Mori, and Jagdish Dheewar.
