Governor Haribhau Bagade Inaugurates New Infrastructure at Agriculture College, Bhusawar

Bhusawar. Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade officially inaugurated the newly constructed administrative and academic blocks, along with student hostels and canteen facilities, at the Agriculture College in Bhusawar on July 17. The ceremony, held within the college campus, marked a significant expansion of educational infrastructure for the institution, which operates under the Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner.

The event was graced by Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena and local MLA Bahadur Singh Koli. Presiding over the function, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Pushpendra Singh Chauhan highlighted the university's recent achievements, noting its 32nd national ranking and second position within Rajasthan. He detailed the institution's extensive reach across 12 districts and its commitment to advancing agricultural research.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Bagade underscored that physical infrastructure serves as a foundation, but the true value lies in the knowledge students acquire. He urged the youth to cultivate discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose, drawing inspiration from historical figures. The Governor emphasized that education should empower students to become job creators and innovators rather than mere job seekers, encouraging them to bridge the gap between laboratory research and practical farming in rural areas.

Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena highlighted the agricultural potential of the Bhusawar region, particularly in horticulture, noting the local success in mango, lemon, and guava production. He urged farmers to adopt balanced fertilization practices based on soil health tests to ensure long-term sustainability, while also referencing government support schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of mementos to the guests and a vote of thanks delivered by Dean Dr. M.L. Meena. The event saw participation from various agricultural scientists, faculty members, students, and local farmers, all of whom expressed optimism regarding the enhanced facilities and their potential to foster a more prosperous agricultural future for the region.
