Jaipur Transport Inspector Urges Students to Prioritize Road Safety

Jaipur. A significant road safety awareness initiative was held at the Khaitan Polytechnic College campus in Jaipur on September 5, 2026, aimed at fostering a culture of responsible driving among the youth. The event, organized by the Khaitan Polytechnic College Alumni Association in collaboration with the Muskan Foundation for Road Safety, featured a keynote address by Senior Inspector Dinesh Singh from the Regional Transport Office.

More than 200 students participated in the session, which drew attendees from Khaitan Polytechnic College, the Government Engineering College Jaipur, and the Government Polytechnic College Phagi. Inspector Singh, an alumnus of the host institution, utilized the platform to share critical data regarding road accidents in Rajasthan and across the nation, urging students to integrate safety measures into their daily routines.

During his address, the inspector emphasized the necessity of strict road discipline, including the correct use of helmets and seat belts. He warned against the dangers of mobile phone usage while driving and highlighted the critical importance of curbing over-speeding. He reminded the audience that road safety is a collective responsibility, where every individual must protect not only themselves but also fellow commuters.

The event was supported by the leadership of the Alumni Association, including President G.P. Sharma and General Secretary Dinesh Saini, with active contributions from members Raghunath Singh and Tara Singh. Principal Vinod Jangid provided guidance for the program, which was executed with the assistance of Ramkaran Yadav.

Representatives from the Muskan Foundation, Sameer Nainawat and Mahesh Kumar Sharma, engaged with the students to explain traffic laws, signage, and safe road behavior. Through the use of educational videos and presentations, the attendees were shown practical methods to avoid accidents and navigate real-world traffic conditions. The event concluded with a formal pledge, led by Inspector Singh, where all participants committed to upholding road safety standards.
