Jaipur. Employees under the Lok Jumbish project are preparing to stage a demonstration at the Rajasthan School Education Council office located at Shiksha Sankul on October 6, 2026. The protest, organized by the Akhil Rajasthan Samagra Shiksha Karmachari Sangh, which is affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, comes after repeated failures to secure clear directives regarding salary disbursement from state authorities.

According to the organization, the primary grievance stems from the absence of comprehensive guidelines for Lok Jumbish staff, a stark contrast to the procedures established for Shiksha Karmi project employees back in January 2022. General Secretary Banwari Lal Malav noted that while the Finance Department issued a circular in January 2020, the necessary administrative framework to implement these payments for the Lok Jumbish cadre remains missing.

The association has been actively pursuing this matter for over a year, with formal requests for action submitted to the State Project Director and the Commissioner of the Rajasthan School Education Council starting in April 2025. Further efforts included submitting memoranda through district collectors across the state in April 2026, yet these appeals have not yielded the required administrative resolution.

Tensions escalated following a final attempt to resolve the issue through communication with the Additional Chief Secretary of the School Education and Language Department on September 24, 2026. The union had explicitly warned that a failure to issue the necessary orders by October 5 would result in a public demonstration.

State President Gyanendra Singh Chauhan stated that although there was an indication of a potential meeting with the State Project Director on October 5, no formal confirmation or invitation was received by the evening of that date. Consequently, the employees have decided to proceed with their planned protest at the Shiksha Sankul. The demonstration aims to draw the state government's immediate attention to the financial hardships faced by the staff and to demand the urgent issuance of clear salary disbursement protocols.
