PCC Secretary and veteran leader Hari Singh Rundla has officially staked his claim for the Congress ticket in Sikar's Zila Parishad Ward 37, citing his extensive organizational experience.

Sikar. As the political atmosphere intensifies with the ongoing Panchayati Raj elections in Rajasthan, veteran Congress leader and Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Hari Singh Rundla has formally announced his candidacy for the party ticket from Ward Number 37 of the Sikar Zila Parishad. His entry into the race has generated significant discussion within local political circles, largely due to his long-standing reputation and deep-rooted experience in organizational management.
Rundla currently serves as a Secretary in the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and holds the responsibility of observer for the Parbatsar assembly constituency. His supporters believe that his current active role in the party, combined with his administrative acumen, makes him a formidable candidate for the upcoming local body polls. The ward is considered a key battleground, and his candidacy is being viewed as a strategic move by the party to consolidate its position in the region.
The political career of the veteran leader spans several decades, marked by various significant roles within the party structure. He previously served as a state-level member of the 20-Point Programme (Bisu-ka) under the Rajasthan government. His commitment to the party's grassroots outreach is evidenced by his continuous involvement with the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Seva Dal since 2010, where he has served as an organizer and a national trainer for the All India Congress Seva Dal.
His organizational journey began at the local level, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by the electorate. Between 1995 and 2000, he led the Block Youth Congress in Khandela, followed by a tenure as the coordinator for the District Youth Congress in Sikar from 2000 to 2005. He also held the position of Secretary for the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Seva Dal from 2007 to 2010. These diverse roles have allowed him to build a strong network and a deep connection with the party workers on the ground.
Given his extensive background in both administrative and organizational capacities, political observers suggest that Rundla's bid for the Ward 37 ticket carries considerable weight. As the selection process for candidates continues, his supporters remain optimistic that his track record of service will secure him the nomination. The final decision on the ticket allocation is expected to be announced by the party leadership in the coming days as the election schedule progresses.
