BMS Advocates for National Labor Day Declaration on Vishwakarma Jayanti

Jaipur. On the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) organized a significant commemorative event in Jaipur to honor the divine architect. The gathering brought together hundreds of representatives and workers from various affiliated labor organizations to celebrate the values of craftsmanship and industrial contribution. Ramesh Sai presided over the proceedings, which focused on the historical and cultural significance of Lord Vishwakarma as a symbol of creation and skill.

National executive members Dinanath Ruthla and S.K. Rathore addressed the assembly, highlighting the legendary architectural feats attributed to Lord Vishwakarma, including the construction of Lanka and the city of Dwarka. The organization argued that linking this day to the legacy of Lord Vishwakarma would be a fitting tribute to the millions of workers who contribute to the country's infrastructure and industrial growth.

The memorandum highlights that recognizing this date would foster a greater sense of respect for the labor class and celebrate the spirit of innovation across the state. Similar representations were submitted to district collectors across Rajasthan, ensuring that the collective voice of the workforce reaches the state government.
