Jaipur Heritage Round Table Transforms Dhankya Basti School with New Infrastructure

JAIPUR. On the occasion of Independence Day, the Government Upper Primary School in Dhankya Basti, Jhotwara, witnessed a significant transformation as members of the Jaipur Heritage Round Table gathered to inaugurate new facilities. The organization invested 15 lakh rupees to construct two additional classrooms, ensuring that students have access to a better learning environment. Beyond the structural upgrades, the team also provided essential furniture to ensure every child has a comfortable place to sit during their lessons.

The event commenced with a ceremonial flag hoisting, preceded by the lighting of a lamp before Goddess Saraswati. The visiting delegation, which included Director Anshul Jindal and his wife Aditi, former Director Nihar Gupta and his wife Sarika, and JHLC 128 President Deepika Rampuria, actively participated in the day's festivities. They were joined by other prominent members including Nitin Sarraf, Sarika Sarraf, Amit Jain, Sagar Tambi, Santwana, Piyush Gupta, Ajay, and Treasurer Ishan Shah.

To mark the spirit of the national holiday, the members distributed school bags and notebooks to the students, followed by a communal breakfast. The group also engaged in a tree-planting drive on the school premises, emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship. This initiative was largely driven by the persistent coordination of school staff member Dharampal Singh, whose efforts successfully bridged the gap between the school's needs and the philanthropic support of the organization.

The school faculty, including Ratan Kanwar, Vinita Jindal, Rajni Pareek, Krishna Shekhawat, and Saroj, extended a warm welcome to the guests, honoring them with garlands and floral bouquets. The visit concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Headmaster Sanjay, who expressed deep gratitude for the contribution. The Jaipur Heritage Round Table members have pledged their continued support for the school's future development, promising to assist with further improvements as needed to ensure the students receive the best possible educational opportunities.
