Rajasthan Police Chief Joins Regional Strategy Summit to Tackle Modern Crime Challenges

Jaipur. Rajasthan Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma recently attended the 13th Western Regional Police Coordination Committee meeting held at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. The high-level gathering brought together top law enforcement officials from across the region, including Madhya Pradesh DGP Kailash Makwana and Goa DGP Alok Kumar, to deliberate on critical security challenges and interstate cooperation.

The delegation representing Rajasthan included Additional Director General of Police for Law and Order V.K. Singh, Inspector General of Police K.B. Vandana, and Chittorgarh Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh. Together, they engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding the evolving landscape of crime control, public order, and the integration of modern policing techniques.

A significant portion of the summit was dedicated to presentations on contemporary security threats. Experts analyzed strategies for managing large-scale religious events, innovative methods for locating missing children, and tactical approaches to dismantling the infrastructure supporting cybercrime. Furthermore, the participants explored the implementation of advanced digital solutions within the criminal justice system and addressed the growing menace of narcotics trafficking.

During the proceedings, Director General Sharma highlighted the proactive measures and technological innovations currently being deployed by the Rajasthan Police. He emphasized that the successful implementation of new criminal laws depends heavily on the exchange of best practices between states and the adoption of a unified, technology-driven strategy. He noted that such collaborative efforts are essential for staying ahead of sophisticated criminal networks.

The meeting also served as a platform for senior officers to discuss the rapid sharing of intelligence and the strengthening of operational ties between state police forces.
