Jaipur Division Railway Officials and Union Leaders Convene to Address Operational Safety

Phulera. A significant safety seminar was organized on August 7, 2026, at the community center in the Railway Colony, Phulera, under the auspices of the North Western Railway Employees Union, Jaipur Division. The event brought together senior railway officials and union representatives to deliberate on critical measures for ensuring secure train operations and enhancing awareness among the workforce.

Divisional Railway Manager Ravi Jain, who attended as the chief guest, emphasized that such periodic seminars are vital for the Indian Railways to prevent accidents and maintain high safety standards. He highlighted the collective responsibility of the administration and the staff in upholding operational integrity. Zonal General Secretary Vinod Mehta underscored the importance of integrating modern technology, such as advanced train protection systems and effective risk management, into daily operations. He urged staff members, including loco pilots, guards, and station masters, to strictly adhere to signaling protocols, speed limits, and vigilance orders.

The seminar also served as a platform for employees to voice their grievances. Divisional President Saurabh Dixit reaffirmed the union's commitment to acting as a bridge between the workforce and the administration. He assured the attendees that the union would prioritize resolving departmental issues and advocating for the rights of the workers to ensure a safe working environment. Senior Divisional Safety Officer Manmohan Meena echoed these sentiments, stating that the primary objective is to eliminate workplace hazards and prevent untoward incidents across the Jaipur division.

The event saw the participation of various high-ranking officials, including ADRM Gaurav Gaud, Senior DOM Ajit Meena, and representatives from the mechanical, electrical, and commercial departments. During the proceedings, the mechanical department presented specific demands to the Divisional Railway Manager. The union also proposed that the upcoming divisional-level safety meeting be hosted at the Coach Care Complex in Jaipur. The seminar concluded with a formal welcome for the dignitaries and a pledge to continue collaborative efforts toward railway safety and employee welfare.
