Jaipur. A prominent medical professional from Jaipur, Dr. Arvind Jaiswal, has been conferred with the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Nobel Peace Award 2026. The recognition was presented during a grand ceremony held at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on October 2, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. The award was bestowed upon him by Gandhian monk Acharya Lokesh Muni and other distinguished members of the Gandhian community in acknowledgment of his multifaceted contributions to the medical field and social welfare.

Currently serving as a National Assessor under the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) in New Delhi, Dr. Jaiswal plays a pivotal role in the Indian government's healthcare infrastructure. His responsibilities involve conducting rigorous inspections of government hospitals across the country. These assessments are instrumental in determining the awards and incentives granted by the government, directly contributing to the ongoing enhancement of public health service quality nationwide.

Beyond his clinical and administrative duties, Dr. Jaiswal maintains an active presence in social development. He serves as the National Executive President of the Akhil Bharatiya Jaiswal Sarvavargiya Mahasabha, where he focuses on organizational unity and the promotion of Gandhian values to foster societal progress. His commitment to community building is further evidenced by his role as Secretary of the Maharaja College Alumni Association, an organization connecting over 1,000 former students. Through this platform, he facilitates mutual support and organizes cultural events that strengthen social harmony.

Dr. Jaiswal's dedication to public service has earned him widespread recognition, including approximately 30 awards from various national organizations for his efforts during the pandemic. His career, which has been defined by a commitment to selfless service since 2000, has also been marked by recent accolades such as the National Pride Award 2026 and the Rajasthan Manav Seva Samman Ratna Award 2026. These honors reflect his administrative efficiency and his deep-rooted dedication to the welfare of the public.
