Under the Samagra Abhiyan initiative, Alwar police conducted an awareness session at Bal Bharti School, educating 400 students on cyber security, traffic safety, and drug prevention.

ALWAR. The Alwar police department has initiated a comprehensive outreach program titled Samagra Abhiyan, aimed at fostering a safer environment for the city's youth. As part of this district-wide effort, a significant awareness session was recently hosted at Bal Bharti School in Scheme Number 1. The event saw participation from approximately 400 students, who were briefed on critical issues including cyber security, road safety protocols, and the dangers of substance abuse.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary stated that the campaign is designed to address the rising concerns regarding digital fraud, traffic violations, and the prevalence of narcotics among young people. The initiative is scheduled to run from July 17 to August 17, 2026, covering various educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and coaching centers across the city. By engaging directly with students, the police aim to build a more informed and vigilant generation.
During the session, experts from the cyber cell and traffic department provided detailed insights into the mechanics of online scams and the importance of responsible social media usage. Students were educated on how to identify potential threats and were encouraged to utilize official channels for reporting cyber incidents. The police highlighted the use of the national cybercrime helpline and dedicated local portals to ensure that victims can seek immediate assistance when faced with digital threats.
Traffic safety was another major focus of the program, with officers emphasizing the mandatory use of helmets and seat belts. The police issued a stern warning against minors operating motor vehicles, stressing that such actions pose significant risks to public safety. Furthermore, the session included a segment on the harmful impacts of drug addiction, where students were encouraged to pledge their commitment to building a healthier, drug-free society.
The event was attended by several senior officials, including Deputy Superintendent of the Cyber Police Station Ramniwas, Inspector Sunil Tank, and representatives from the local traffic and police units. Teachers and staff from Bal Bharti School also participated, supporting the police department's efforts to instill a sense of responsibility among the student body. Through these ongoing interactions, the authorities hope to achieve the long-term vision of a secure and law-abiding Alwar.
