Hindaun City, Karauli. The 70th State Level Table Tennis Competition, organized by the Department of Elementary Education, reached a thrilling conclusion this Sunday at the Madhukar Bhawan indoor hall of Adarsh Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School. The event, hosted under the auspices of Government Upper Primary School Alabada, saw intense competition as teams from across Rajasthan vied for the top honors.

In the boys' category, the Bikaner squad displayed exceptional skill and aggressive play to defeat Kota with a score of 3-1, securing the championship trophy. Meanwhile, the girls' category witnessed a dominant performance from Udaipur, who utilized superior coordination and tactical precision to overcome the challenge from Churu, also finishing with a 3-1 victory.

The road to the finals was marked by hard-fought semifinal matches. In the boys' bracket, Kota advanced by defeating Jaipur 3-1, while Bikaner earned their spot by besting Churu by the same margin. The girls' semifinals were equally competitive, with Churu defeating Bikaner 3-1 and Udaipur narrowly edging out Jaipur in a 3-2 thriller.

The battle for third place saw Churu claim the bronze in the boys' division with a 3-1 win over Jaipur. In the girls' division, Jaipur secured the third-place spot after a grueling 3-2 victory against Bikaner. The tournament also finalized rankings for the fifth through eighth positions, with teams from districts including Hanumangarh, Tonk, Bharatpur, and Ajmer showcasing their talents throughout the event.

The closing ceremonies were graced by notable officials, including Additional District Education Officer Radharaman Sharma, Chief Block Education Officer Kamlesh Shukla, and tournament coordinator Dayal Singh Solanki. These dignitaries interacted with the young athletes, offering encouragement and praising the high level of sportsmanship displayed throughout the competition.

With the team events now concluded, the focus shifts to the individual matches, which are scheduled to commence at 9:00 AM. Organizers have confirmed that comprehensive arrangements for nutritious, complimentary meals for all participants have been made possible through the generous support of local philanthropists, ensuring the athletes remain well-fueled for the upcoming singles rounds.
