Tragic End for Bharatpur Teen After Alleged Harassment Incident

Bharatpur. A distressing incident has emerged from the Helena police station jurisdiction in Bharatpur, where a teenage girl lost her life after allegedly being subjected to harassment by a neighbor. The victim, who was visiting her sister and brother-in-law, reportedly consumed a toxic substance following the ordeal, leading to her untimely death during medical treatment at the RBM Hospital.

According to family members, the incident occurred on September 29 while the girl was alone at home. Her relatives had gone to the fields for agricultural work, leaving her unattended. It is alleged that a neighbor took advantage of the situation, entered the premises, and harassed the minor before fleeing the scene. The girl disclosed the harrowing experience to her sister immediately upon the family's return that evening.

The revelation sparked a confrontation between the victim's family and the accused neighbor, which required intervention from local residents to de-escalate. Despite the initial attempt to resolve the matter, the situation took a fatal turn the following Wednesday afternoon when the girl ingested poison. She was rushed to a nearby medical facility by her family, but due to her critical condition, doctors referred her to the district hospital in Bharatpur for advanced care.

Despite the best efforts of the medical staff at RBM Hospital, the girl succumbed to the effects of the poison. Upon receiving notification of the tragedy, Station House Officer Vijender Singh arrived at the hospital with his team to oversee the situation. The police conducted a post-mortem examination before releasing the body to the grieving family for final rites.
