Extended Power Outage Scheduled for Sawai Madhopur Rural Areas This Saturday

Sawai Madhopur. Residents across various rural sectors of Sawai Madhopur should prepare for a significant disruption in electricity services this coming Saturday, September 26. Jaipur Discom has announced a scheduled power shutdown to facilitate critical maintenance and technical upgrades across several grid substations, aimed at bolstering the regional power infrastructure and preventing future large-scale technical failures.

The power suspension is slated to begin at 7:00 AM and is expected to continue until 11:30 AM. During this four-and-a-half-hour window, electricity supply will remain completely unavailable across multiple feeders connected to seven key 33 KV grid substations. The affected infrastructure includes the Ajanoti GSS, along with units serving Needarda, Padhana, Rahitha, Surwal, Lorwara, and Pachipalya.

A wide range of villages and surrounding hamlets will experience this outage. The list of impacted areas includes Ajanoti, Needarda, Padhana, Rathiya, Surwal, Mainpura, Khatkala, Sailu, Jadavta, Dubbi Banas, Sinoli, Mau, Pusoda, Dhanoli, Sunari, Jatwara Kalan, Lorwara, and Pachipalya. Residents in these vicinities are advised to plan their day accordingly, as the maintenance work is essential for the long-term stability of the local electrical grid.

Utility officials have urged farmers and local households to complete all electricity-dependent tasks before the shutdown commences. This includes activities such as filling water tanks, charging mobile devices, and managing other essential household or agricultural chores that rely on a steady power supply. By completing these tasks before 7:00 AM, residents can mitigate the inconvenience caused by the temporary suspension of services.
