Residents of the newly established Kotra Dhahar Gram Panchayat in the Shri Mahavirji block have formally challenged the integrity of the reservation lottery process conducted on September 24 for the Sarpanch position. A delegation of villagers submitted a memorandum to the District Collector and the District Election Officer, calling for a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the administrative procedures followed during the allocation.

The primary contention raised by the local community involves the representation of Scheduled Caste voters, who reportedly account for approximately 38 percent of the total electorate.
