Ancient Aravali Peaks Prepare for Four-Day Sita Mata Fair in Sawai Madhopur

SAWAI MADHOPUR. The rugged landscape of the Aravali hills is preparing to host the annual Sita Mata Janaki fair, a significant cultural and religious event that draws devotees from across the region. Organizers have finalized the schedule for the four-day celebration, which is slated to run from September 23 to September 26. A planning meeting was recently convened by the Sita Mata Development Committee to ensure the smooth execution of the festivities. The session saw participation from committee president Bhairulal Meena, media coordinator Mukesh Meena Mandhal, and various village elders and representatives from areas including Neemli Khurd, Jinapur, Neemli Kalan, Vajpur, Juwad, and Kustala. The committee members engaged in detailed discussions regarding the logistical arrangements, security measures, and the scheduling of religious ceremonies to accommodate the expected influx of pilgrims.

The cultural itinerary for the fair is packed with traditional activities designed to celebrate local heritage. Attendees can look forward to soul-stirring bhajan evenings, the traditional Kanhaiya Dangal, and vibrant folk music performances.
