A coalition of political representatives in Sawai Madhopur has formally approached the District Election Officer and District Collector to demand rigorous oversight for the impending Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. The delegation emphasized the necessity of conducting the democratic exercise in a manner that is entirely free from fear, coercion, or administrative bias, ensuring that every candidate receives an equitable platform to contest.

The memorandum highlights significant concerns stemming from experiences during recent municipal elections, where issues such as political confinement, alleged administrative pressure, and violations of the model code of conduct were reported. The signatories expressed apprehension regarding the potential misuse of government machinery and urged the administration to implement robust safeguards to prevent any partisan influence throughout the electoral process.

Addressing the authorities, the representatives stressed that any reports of intimidation, bribery, or attempts to influence voters must be met with immediate and decisive action. They argued that maintaining a level playing field is essential for the integrity of the local governance structure. The delegation specifically requested that the administration monitor the use of state resources to ensure they are not leveraged to favor any particular political entity or individual candidate.

The joint delegation included prominent local figures such as Rajesh Pahadia from the Congress, Ramgopal Gunsariya representing the Communist Party, Mukesh Bhupremi of the Aam Aadmi Party, and Ashok Kumar from the BSP. These leaders collectively asserted that the sanctity of the voter's freedom and the impartiality of the election process are the cornerstones of a healthy democracy.
