Shiva Academy and St. Johns Triumph in Bharat Ko Jano Quiz Competition

KARAULI. The Bharat Vikas Parishad branch in Karauli recently hosted its branch-level Bharat Ko Jano quiz competition, drawing significant participation from local educational institutions. The event served as a platform for students to demonstrate their intellectual prowess and quick thinking across various academic and cultural domains. A total of 20 teams representing 10 different schools competed in the final rounds, following an extensive preliminary phase that saw engagement from approximately 2,300 students.

In the senior category, the team from Shiva Academy Senior Secondary School secured the top position. The winning duo consisted of Aradhya Soni and Tanvi Gupta, who outperformed their peers through a series of challenging rounds. The runners-up in this category were Aradhya Hemant Sharma and Chitransh, representing St. Johns Secondary School, who maintained a strong performance throughout the event.

The junior category saw St. Johns Secondary School emerge as the winner, with students Aadhya Shukla and Mayank Kumar claiming the title. The second-place spot in the junior division was awarded to Ishika and Jyoti from Bal Bharti English Medium School. The competition was structured into five distinct rounds for each category, covering a diverse range of topics including Indian culture, religious history, the freedom movement, the national constitution, geography, agriculture, science, and literature.

The proceedings were managed by coordinators Rajendra Diwan, Purushottam Sharma, and Yogendra Singhal, who ensured the smooth execution of the quiz. Technical support was provided by Akhilesh Gupta, who handled the timing, while Nagendra Sharma, Motilal Shakyawar, and Arvind Agarwal served as scorers. The event concluded with a formal prize distribution ceremony where winners and runners-up received certificates and awards.

The ceremony was presided over by provincial office bearers including Sitaram Sharma, President Tulsi Ram Goenka, and Secretary Kamlakant Sharma. Project in-charge Prakash Chand Gupta highlighted the scale of the competition, noting the impressive turnout during the initial selection phase. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Pradeep Jain, Rekha Goenka, Sunita Agarwal, Neeraj Gupta, and Ramesh Sharma, alongside various teachers and council members who gathered to support the participating students.
