CJP Leaders Return to Jaipur Following Two-Month Delhi Protest Over Education Reform
After leading a prolonged agitation in the national capital, Cockroach Janta Party spokespersons Ashutosh Ranka and Deepak Balian are heading back to Jaipur to engage with students at Rajasthan University.

Jaipur. Following a two-month period of intense demonstrations in New Delhi, national spokespersons for the Cockroach Janta Party, Ashutosh Ranka and Deepak Balian, are scheduled to arrive in Jaipur this Tuesday. Their return marks a transition in the organization's strategy as they shift their focus toward grassroots engagement within the state. Upon their arrival, the leaders have organized a direct interaction session at the Rajasthan University campus, slated for 5:00 PM, where they intend to deliberate on the future trajectory of their movement with the student community.
Ashutosh Ranka emphasized that the conclusion of the Delhi-based protest does not signify an end to their broader campaign. He maintained that the organization remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving qualitative improvements within the national academic framework. According to Ranka, the group is prepared to sustain its efforts until the country's educational infrastructure undergoes a comprehensive and satisfactory transformation. The leaders view this return to their home base as a necessary step to mobilize support and refine their approach to policy advocacy.
The political climate surrounding the organization remains charged following a recent press conference held alongside senior advocate Kapil Sibbal. During that event, Ranka and fellow spokesperson Sourav Das issued a formal ultimatum to the central government, demanding the withdrawal of all registered first information reports and the immediate release of detained students. They warned that failure to meet these conditions by the specified deadline would compel the party to resume its protest activities in the capital.
Looking ahead, Ranka has indicated that the movement is poised to expand its reach across the country. He expressed a desire to strengthen the party's organizational structure while addressing various issues pertinent to the youth and the academic sector. The leadership is actively exploring all avenues to ensure their concerns are heard, including the possibility of direct political participation if such a move is deemed essential for achieving their goals. By prioritizing the voices of young citizens, the party aims to build a more effective platform for systemic change.
