Churu Legal Services Authority Promotes Justice Access on International Justice Day

Churu. On the occasion of World International Justice Day, the Churu District Legal Services Authority spearheaded a comprehensive outreach initiative aimed at bridging the gap between the judicial system and the common citizen. Throughout the district, various awareness camps were established to educate residents about their fundamental legal protections and the availability of state-sponsored support mechanisms. The primary objective of these gatherings was to demystify the legal process and ensure that individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds understand how to seek redress for grievances.

Secretary Krishna Rakesh Kanwat emphasized the critical nature of these efforts during her address. She articulated that the fundamental goal of the international observance is to foster global peace through the robust protection of human rights. According to Kanwat, the legal system must be accessible to every individual, regardless of their financial status or level of education. She stressed that no person should be denied justice simply because they lack the resources or the knowledge to navigate complex legal procedures, calling upon the public to remain vigilant about their rights.

A significant portion of the success of this district-wide campaign is attributed to the dedicated work of Para Legal Volunteers. Volunteers including Suman Sharma, Vikram Prajapat, Ramavatar Sharma, and Mamta Kadwasara traveled to remote villages and hamlets to disseminate vital information. By conducting grassroots outreach, these volunteers ensured that the message of legal empowerment reached those living in the most isolated corners of the region.

During these interactive sessions, residents received detailed briefings on essential topics such as the functioning of Lok Adalats and the benefits of mediation as a dispute resolution tool. Furthermore, the volunteers provided guidance on accessing free legal aid services, victim compensation schemes, and the legal frameworks surrounding the prevention of child marriage. The sessions also covered specific protections for women and children, empowering attendees to recognize and report violations. The active participation of the rural population highlighted a growing interest in understanding legal remedies, marking the initiative as a meaningful step toward making justice a tangible reality for every resident in the Churu district.
