From Job Seeker to Job Creator: Joydeep Dutta’s Inspiring Journey of Struggle and Success

Not everyone’s career starts on a smooth path. Some have to fight their way through failures, rejections, and financial struggles to reach success. Joydeep Dutta is one such name—a man who went from being an unemployed MCA graduate to an entrepreneur employing hundreds of people.  

The Beginning: A Degree but No Job

Born on March 26, 1991, in Manbazar, West Bengal, Joydeep Dutta completed his BCA from Asansol Bidhan Chandra College in 2011 and pursued MCA in 2014, hoping to land a high-paying IT job.  

But despite his qualifications, reality was different. Over 50 companies rejected him due to strict hiring criteria and his communication skills. Even after scoring 90% in Capgemini’s off-campus test, he was turned down.  

Turning Failure into Opportunity

Frustrated but not defeated, Joydeep decided to take control of his own future. He explored blogging and digital marketing, learning how to earn online. But entrepreneurship came with its own challenges—he faced financial losses, took loans to pay employees, and struggled to sustain his business.

In 2019, he founded ‘Affnosys India’, an IT and digital marketing company. He recruited 131 work-from-home interns, hoping to build a strong foundation. But just as things started picking up, the COVID-19 lockdown hit, and his business collapsed.  

The Big Comeback

Instead of giving up, Joydeep decided to rebuild. In 2023, he restarted his company in Jamshedpur, focusing on brand management, influencer marketing, eCommerce marketing, and IT solutions. His hard work and strategic approach paid off, and today, his company has grown into a multi-crore business, employing hundreds of young professionals across India. 

Giving Back: Helping Rajasthan’s Youth

Having faced unemployment himself, Joydeep now helps others by conducting campus recruitment drives in Rajasthan. He aims to provide jobs to talented students and guide them in career-building, ensuring they don’t have to face the same struggles he did.
